Road Closures
Construction closures
- Warner Milne Road between Beavercreek Road and Molalla Avenue (City of Oregon City project) -- Limited to local traffic only until project is completed in mid-May 2010. Workers are realigning the intersection of Warner Milne Road and Molalla Avenue, improving underground public utilities and rehabilitating pavement. - Baker Road between Clackamas/Washington County line (SW Sunset Boulevard) and SW McConnell Road (City of Sherwood project) -- Closed February 8-July 15, 2010, 24 hours-a-day, for installation of a water supply transmission pipeline. Detours are posted. Construction site open to emergency vehicles, school buses, garbage and post office vehicles, and local businesses. - 172nd Avenue between Rock Creek Blvd. and Sunnyside Road (Clackamas County project) -- Closed through August 2010 for road for road widening and improvements; open only to local traffic and emergency vehicles. - I-205 Abernethy (Willamette River) Bridge Preservation (Oregon Department of Transportation project) -- UPDATE MARCH 8: This preservation project includes replacing bridge joints and paving the bridge. Most work takes place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. -- expect nighttime multiple lane closures and on- and off-ramp closures along the bridge. - Highway 213, I-205 to S Conway Drive (Oregon Department of Transportation project) -- UPDATE MARCH 8: This project to repave Highway 213 from I-205 to Conway Drive in Oregon City includes roadway repairs, repaving, new signs and updated signals. - Highway 213, Milk Creek Bridge Replacement (Oregon Department of Transportation project) -- The state is replacing the Milk Creek Bridge and widening Highway 213 between the Milk Creek Bridge and Passmore Road to add a continuous left turn lane, wider shoulders, curbs and sidewalks, and improve sight distance at the intersections of Highway 213 and Graves Road, and Highway 213 and Mulino Road. There will be daytime lane closures on Highway 213 between 9:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., Monday-Friday. From March 8-12, the contractor will build a barrier on the Milk Creek Bridge, work on utilities at Highway 213 and Graves Road, and install temporary bridge rails at night. - Highway 224 (Clackamas Highway), Eagle Creek to Estacada (Oregon Department of Transportation project) -- UPDATE MARCH 8: The first phase of the project, which is underway, is beautification and preservation on Highway 224 in the city limits of Estacada. The second phase, scheduled to begin in spring 2010, includes repaving Highway 224 between Eagle Creek and the entrance to the City of Estacada. From March 8-12, the contractor will pour sign foundations. This will require intermitten lane closures of Highway 224 in both directions during daytime work hours.
