Monument Box Requirements for Plats

In accordance with the Clackamas County Code, monument boxes are required for all public land corner monuments that fall within paved areas and also for centerline monuments within or, if applicable, outside the boundary of subdivision, partition and condominium plats.

The following monument boxes (frames) and covers have been approved for use in Clackamas County:

8" inch frames and covers - are typically acceptable for most local streets (subdivisions) with speeds of less than 35 miles per hour.
