Program/Service Notes:
Provides free legal assistance to low-income agricultural workers, predominantly migrant farm workers (fruit, vegetable, plants, animals) as well as workers in other phases of agricultural production (canneries, food processing plants, meat packing). Mainly labor problems such as wage claims. Also provides assistance with tax disputes, consumer issues and civil rights, immigration, citizenship & green card renewals. Serves Marion, Polk, Clackamas and Multnomah Counties primarily, but clients in other counties may call for assistance or for proper referral.
