Clackamas County’s Volunteer Connection brings great people and great causes together through effective community engagement, volunteer and client services.

Healthy Start - Healthy Families
Volunteers support new parents as hospital visitors, playgroup coordinators and childcare providers for parenting support groups. Car seat clinics and safety inspections are available to low-income families at no charge. 503-655-8234
Transportation Reaching People (TRP)
Volunteers provide rides for older, disabled or veteran neighbors to medical appointments and essential errands. 503-655-8208
Travel Training
Volunteers and staff are available to train low income and disabled citizens to get where they need to go using public transportation. 503-655-8604
Family Caregiver Support Program
The Family Caregiver Support Program helps non-paid family caregivers who are seeking relief from the demands of caregiving by providing emotional support, stipends, educational classes, information and access to other programs. 503-650-5724
Money Management Program
Trained volunteers assist older adults and individuals with disabilities who need help with budgeting, balancing checkbooks, or bill paying. Training provided. Clients must be referred by a case manager. 503-655-8873
Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA)
Provide information on Medicare enrollment and billing, supplemental health insurance, prescription discount cards and resources for reduced cost medications. 503-655-8269
Senior Companion Program
Provide companionship and assistance to senior and disabled adults, supporting independence through shared activities, transportation, and friendship. Training provided. 503-655-8604
RSVP
RSVP develops, facilitates and supports meaningful opportunities that make an impact on community needs through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers are 55 years of age and better, contributing their experience, compassion, skills and talents through community organizations to enhance the quality of life in our community. 503-650-5779
