Scholarships

Each year, the Child Abuse and Family Violence Summit coordinates with community agencies to provide scholarship opportunities for professionals to attend the conference. This year, we're proud to present the following scholarship opportunities:

  • Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) of Clackamas County -- These scholarships are available to agencies within Clackamas County. If you work in Oregon (outside Clackamas County), please contact your local county MDT Coordinator for scholarship opportunities.   • Summit Scholarships -- A limited amount of scholarships available to those in child abuse or family violence prevention or education professions. Click here to download the scholarship application form (PDF format)

  • Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training -- Please contact the training and development team at DPSST.

Please complete the following steps in order to successfully process each applicant:

  1. Complete the 2012 Child Abuse and Family Violence Summit Registration Form. This form can be downloaded from this link, or it can be found in the Summit 2012 print program. (You can also register online.) Check the "Scholarship" box on the Registration Form, under the Payment Method field.  The Registration Form should be faxed, mailed or emailed to Conference Coordinator Julie L. Collinson.

  2. Download and complete the scholarship form for which you intend to apply. Each scholarship form needs to be sent to the individual agency providing the scholarship (MDT of Clackamas County and Summit Scholarships are sent to one location; see form for details). Please refer to the each form for specific mailing instructions.

  3. All scholarship applications need to be received by each agency no later than February 17, 2012. Scholarship applications received after February 17, 2012 cannot be processed.

  4. All scholarship awardees will be notified by March 9, 2012.

Those who applied for scholarships and were not awarded one will be asked to submit payment for their registration no later than April 20, 2012. Your registration cost will be held at the early registration rate of $395.
