HOPE VI UPDATE
After a year of intensive planning and preparation, HACC staff successfully submitted a HOPE VI Grant Application to HUD ( Department of Housing and Urban Development) to revitalize Clackamas Heights, a public housing community in Oregon City owned and operated by HACC. The application submitted on November 20th, 2010, was the result of a multi-organizational effort involving community partners, residents, consultant and HACC staff to assemble a compelling vision for the future of Clackamas Heights. HACC requested $21.5 million in funding from the HOPE VI program to help fund the proposed $88.3 million dollar revitalization project.
