Addiction Treatment

We provide specialized support programs for addiction treatment: Adult Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services,Youth Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services and Treatment Courts.

Adult Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services

The Alcohol and Drug programs offer services for both voluntary and court mandated persons.

Services include: information, education and treatment for the alcoholic, the problem drinker and the drug abusing client.

Individual and group therapy is provided on an outpatient basis. We provide assessment and referral for individuals who require residential or inpatient (detoxification) services.

Consultation is available to the Children Services Division, Adult and Family Services, Community Corrections and senior citizen's groups.

We have an individual and group treatment program solely for women with problems of alcohol abuse, or for women living with problem drinkers. The program includes:

  • Assertiveness training
  • Support therapy
  • Relapse prevention
  • Family Therapy

Youth Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services

Prevention, early intervention, and outpatient - including aftercare treatment - services are provided to children and adolescents experiencing or at risk of developing alcohol or drug abuse problems. Treatment services include:

  • Alcohol and  drug assessment
  • Individual, family and group therapy
  • Group education
  • Screening for admissions to the DePaul Youth Program
  • Continuing therapy in aftercare

We also work cooperatively with area school districts providing intervention services to children and youth thought to be at risk based on behavioral problems at home and/or at school; children with a history of living in abusive homes; children showing sudden changes in school performance; and other indicators. Cooperative services include:

  • Early Intervention
  • Parent education
  • Alcohol and drug abuse education
  • Diagnosis and evaluation for students at risk
  • Referral to treatment for those who have abuse problems
  • Follow-up and aftercare for young people who have completed a treatment program

Treatment Courts

CCCH offers specialized court services as an alternative to sentencing nonviolent offenders. Treatment court services include Mental Health Court, Drug Court, Youth Drug Court and Family Court. Contact your attorney or call 503-655-8401 for more information about these services.
