Commissioner Lininger speaks at a dinner hosted by Clackamas County on Jan. 12. Its purpose was to introduce Clackamas County’s 2012 state legislative agenda to the county’s state legislative delegation. The dinner brought together the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners, other county elected officials and our state legislative delegation to review the legislative agenda. It was a success! There was a great turn out for the dinner - 11 of the 17 members of the Clackamas County Legislative Delegation were in attendance. It was held at the Museum of Oregon Territory in Oregon City. |

NOVEMBER, 2010 - Planting fruit trees at the Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center campus in Clackamas. This was a cooperative effort with Portland Fruit Tree Project and Kaiser to plant five persimmon trees. When ready for picking, half goes to the pickers (usually low income participants in the program) and half are donated to the Oregon Food Bank. This is a great project that works on providing fresh produce to those who may be unable to afford it. |

OCTOBER, 2010 - Commissioner Lininger takes a look around the Colton Helping Hands Food Bank. The food bank serves an estimated 150 families per week and was awarded $3,000 for additional food purchases from the Clackamas County Special Grants Program. |

JULY, 2010 - Touring the Tri-City Water Pollution Control Plant. Wastewater is treated at the plant, and clean water is discharged into the Willamette River. The plant serves the cities of Gladstone, Oregon City and West Linn. |
